Position is accountable for performing a variety of routine and some non-routine documentation functions in accordance with documented Procedures and Work Instructions in the Quality Assurance Receiving Inspection area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs collating, sorting, verification, scanning of vendor & BEI Precision documentation.
Accurately maintain records and filing systems.
Analyze and report documentation transactions such as discrepancies and errors and conducts follow-up actions to assure appropriate resolution, to include interfacing with other departments written and verbally.
Prepare purchase order documentation for material receiving inspection.
OTHER DUTIES:
Performs typing, photocopying and filing of a variety of documentation.
Inputs and enters department and area related data and information into QA databases using a computer terminal.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Education: High School Education or GED.
Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in an ISO/AS governed Quality Management System.
Other: Ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent problem solving and prioritizing skills. Must have good communication (written and oral) skills and pay close attention to detail. A team player; must work well with others but also can work independently with little supervision. Ability to keep accurate records. Ability to perform multiple tasks.
