Engineer Quality

Job Description

This position will support Quality Assurance Engineering functions on Aerospace and Military Programs. Act as Quality Assurance representative for suite of programs. Ensure strict adherence to Program and Customer requirements in the design, manufacturing, and testing of products.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

• Prepare Quality Assurance Test, inspection, and program plans & procedures.
• Review Manufacturing and design engineering documentation to ensure necessary quality and Customer provisions are met. 
• Reside as Chairman of Material Review & Corrective Action Boards.
• Assure adequate supplier controls, especially when Customer directed.
• Interface with Customer and Government representatives.
• Act as Final Test Director for assigned programs.

Basic Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering - Electrical or similar Engineering field required.  

EXPERIENCE:  2-4 years of related experience, preferably in aerospace or defense industry manufacturing.  Knowledge of ISO/AS Quality Management Systems, ESD and Contamination Control.
