Electrical assembly of small components to create high reliability circuit boards and equipment. Programing, loading and operating a Pick & Place (SMT) machine. Building cable assemblies. Assemblies will be built to space standards in a climate controlled environment. Soldering will be done using a microscope in the presence of ionizers.
Basic Qualifications
Must be a U.S citizen.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must have experience working with a Pick & Place.
Cable assembly experience is a benefit.
Able to read and follow drawings, documentation and oral directions.
Must be able to solder and work with small parts using a microscope.
Must pay attention to detail and be willing to work overtime.
Must be able to pass requirements for certification to IPC J-STD-001FS level soldering.
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience with military, space or high reliability soldering work.
